TITLEE……THE BUTTERFLY...AND ITS COLOURFULL WORLD...

I met Dipankar few years back during my trip to Kolkata…he was my 2nd cousin…He had just returned to India after his studies from London..he was working as an Business Analyst in one of the biggest corporate houses...we used to move around the streets of Salt Lake sharing our experiences of life..roaming around we were discussing about the pranks and pranksters..He shared with me one of the pranks that his long time childhood friend TITLEE used to play on her friends..
Dipankar was quite a reserve type of guy..jyada kisi se bolta nahi tha..He used to share his thoughts and feelings with his very closest of friends and acquaintances…and he was very close to me..as we were of the same age group..Moreover he never faked anything..that was his best and biggest of qualities..

As Dipankar started to share..i felt as if it was just happening in front of my eyes..
Dipankar and Titlee belong to the same school Modern Radiance Academy...Titlee was his immediate junior and was the classmate of Rhea..his neighbour..Titlee and Rhea were best of friends and hence was a regular visitor at Rhea’s place... Rhea and Dipankar grew up playing together..and in due course Dipankar and Titlee became good friends...
Titlee as the name suggests was full of chirpiness and very talkative in nature..din bhar batein karna aur hasna...she kept on laughing the whole day...his friends used to call her..Kauwa..as she used to talk too much...and was no more than a tom-boyish type character..fighting and bullying guys of her class...Rhea used to say all these to Dipankar.. He used to enjoy and laugh on the same...
As time moved on Dipankar completed his schooling and finally left that place and went abroad for his studies. After 9 yrs through Facebook he regained contact with Titlee... facebook is really a very nice tool to get in touch with old friends...earlier it was orkut...but facebook has almost toppled the orkut fan following and converted the mass to Facebook Fans...
Anywaz Dipankar called Titlee after getting her no. and they had a nice chat..almost after 9 yrs.. its nice to come in touch of old mates specially the ones of your school..today in this busy world whenever I come down from my work and lay down the sack..i remember the days when school se aane k baad..sidhe khelne jaana hota tha..and now everything’s is changed..I miss those days a lot..
Anywaz back to dipankar’s story....Dip (aka Dipankar) asked Titlee that are you still the same..talkative as before..bullying guys...She said even more and now is a great prankster.. TITLEE passed her Grads and did her MBA..and so she shared some of her pranks..some cant be rated as a prank but rather as a cupid sought of activity..as she never ever had hurt the sentiments of those with whom she had played her pranks..TITLEE as her name was a butterfly jumping from one place to another and spreading the colors of life..was same as before to the surprise of Dip’s imagination..as he became more introvert with time..she kept adding colors in different dimensions within her life...

One of the pranks of Titlee that Dip was saying and bursted LOL...ROFL...a rare scenario if Dip is laughing out Loud... there was one guy named Ratnajit in her university..doing his M-Tech..and Priyanjali was her wallmate in her hostel...Priyanjali was doing her MSc. Titlee came to know from some of her reliable sources that Ratnajit and Priyanjali both used to like each other but never had the guts to see each other..Titlee was expert in spying..she used to keep both her ears and eyes open wherever she used to go..and had lots off assistants in her spying  (I guess inspired by Detective Nani)..

Titlee’s hostel used to serve dinner by 7.30 and priyanjali used to go to the mess by 8pm. One fine evening Titlee and her friends thought of playing a pranks..As Priyanjali went for dinner..they entered her room from the window side..took out her phone and called Ratnajit saying that “Hi, this is priyanjali speaking and I want to be friends with you”. Ratnajit was on cloud nine...saying this she hanged up the phone.. Now surprised with the happiness and shock Ratnajit called Priyanjali back..This time Priyanjali herself received his call and was taken aback by surprise finding him call...but was very much happy to find the guy on whom she was having a crush.. And with these calls their friendship started and both of them started seeing each other...
Till date both of them don’t know who called Ratnajit and what happened actually...both of them were happy in their old world..But TITLEE deserves the kudos for playing the CUPID..if something untowarded had happened and their plan backfired..it might had landed them into trouble..but alls well that ends well.

Dip was all praise for TITLEE for doing this..akir Do premiyon ka Milan jo karwaya usne..

ROFL Dip narrates how one of her pranks revealed the hidden character of a girl... A flirtstar of their batch named Arun Singh Saini... He was one guy whose words were always coated with tons of sugar and can easily make a girl his fan.. (As Ranjeet and Jeevan of yesteryear movies).

Arun’s nature was known to everyone...Abha was Titlee’s junior... Titlee had a very helpful attitude in her institute, So koi bhi problem ho juniors ki sab Titlee k paas jaate the... One day abha came to Titlee and said “Mam, who joh Arun sir hai..bahut ache hai..mujhe roj bahut ache msgs bhejte hai and he is very nice and mujhe bahut samjhate hai and bla!!bla!!bla!! ” Titlee and her room-mate had gone nuts listening to Abha’s same story almost everyday.. Titlee started spying and wanted to see what exactly the matter is....Then she came to know that Arun was already engaged and to their surprise it was one her classmates..

Now Titlee wanted to get hold of Abha's cell so that she can see what messages Arun used to send and what the hell was really cooking.. And to just adding to her surprise and her fortune..Abha lost her sim and Titlee found that some where near her room.. “Really Fortune Favors the Brave..My dear friend”

To the surprise she found out that the whole story was indeed a mess... Acha Arun was good  at  studies and he had a nice fan following. Abha's inbox was filled with all romantic messages.. And now the real curtain fell down from the whole story.. Abha was also flirting with Arun and just to take some advantage of his studious character she intended to try the same.. TITLEE was all in shocked to she the split personality of Abha..

But Abha was still in the mirage of imagination that Arun was attracted towards her but dint knew that Arun was also making a fool out of box in her :)

Now Titlee decided to burst out the mystery that was going around.. and the best way around was GOSSIPSS!!!!! ladkiyon ka favorite past time... Titlee started her gossips in such a manner that went on to reach Abha's ears in such a manner that all her overconfidence came down to ground zero all off a sudden..

Finally Abha realized her mistake..

Dip was all praises for TITLEE.. however and whatever pranks she used to play.. It went to the benefit of her mates..

Really awesome.. is the first thought that striked my mind..

A colorful and cheerful girl having different colorful shades in her life and thereby adding dimensions to her life and spreading colors in other life..is worth to be praised... Dip said she is as chirpy as she was ages back.. bas she had one complaint..yaar main moti kaise banu..as she was still the same lean and thin as during her schooldays.. She used to joke saying.. “Yaar main eek din 12 kele kha gayi moti hone k liye..but kuch nahi huwa” Dip just laughed out saying this.. Now as she is working towards shaping her career she shares all her pranks with Dip..

Dip still calls me an say about her pranks and keeps laughing at it..

Listening from Dip about all her pranks I thought of just jot it down in a single plane.

One should know how essentials is one’s life..it may be for himself /herself or may be for some others.. May be directly or indirectly.. What I felt Titlee was one like that.. I hope all goes well with this pure hearted girl.. May she achieve the pinnacle of success in her life...
So here’r ROY sigining off for today.. waiting for a new face and a new story..

I CARE 2010 Bengaluru....

21st Oct 2010, i boarded an indigo flight to bengaluru..my first single research presentation was just few hours away..did'nt know how it would be..anxiety and nervousness striking together as the plane was taxing down the old runway of the Indira Gandhi International Airport...Finally hit the skies at around 3.35pm in the noon..and amidst frequent turbulences I could witness the beauty of the skies at around 37000 feet above sea level..Flying above bhopal and hyderabad, as the sun was going down, they beauty of the evening skies was clearly visible..as the plane entered b'lore skies..hovering around for a while..We hit the run way of BIAL at around 6.30 in the evening..it was just a beautiful weather waiting to welcome us at bangalore..Checking out..i boarded a bus to the city..which was around 45 km from the airport...The picture of india premier IT city can be easily visible from the Airport's Entrance as the big YAHOO! logo greets every to-fro passengers.
I reach Rishav's place at around 8.15pm in the evening..exhausted after the 3 hour flight...

Now it was the D day..22nd Oct. 2010 i was waiting for my 1st research paper presentation..as i had prepared myself for that day before hand..reached Manyata Tech Park..a huge IT park spreading acres of area..where shuttles run from its entrance gates...Alcatel Lucent, Phillips, Nokia-Siemens, and mainly IBM offices constitutes the maximum area of the Tech park..i hit the IBM floors around 9.oo am. The main co-ordinator Raj Sharma from Delhi was waiting for us, i knew him from 2009 ICARE..
After the registration was over, i went to the talk sessions, Dr. Manish Gupta Director, IBM Research, India was speaking.. After the talk i was checking out which tracks to attend as per the agenda given..
I attended Track 4 "Distributed, High-Performance, Network & Cyber-physical Systems"..it started with Dr. Amarjeet Singh talk on energy efficiency...there was another guy who was speaking more on US type of energy conversion, rather he was comparing that US prepares huge amount and in comparison India's production level is low...i personally felt that he was just praising US and trying to insult India on a public platform...i dont know where IBM says lets make a smarter planet..then its better to talk less and work more...rather than showing the disadvantages of our eco-system it was better to give solutions towards making smarter cities...because these words need to be sent and it should reach the proper authorities..where in organizing a CWG.. Rs.77,000 crores were spent..with how much money was siphoned from one corrupt official to another...the over bridge near the national stadium was built with a whooping cost of Rs 5 Cr. and it collapsed days before the event..and the later was built again by Indian Army in just Rs. 5 lakhs...so just see the difference towards making a smarter planet one need to create smarter people to rule, govern and constitute smarter cities... Where people have no civic sense..we first need to improve the roots..we need a smarter and well developed and concrete base.... So what ever may be their idea..the research should start with an Indian perspective..implement these in indian conditions and stop comparing ourselves with the west.... Improve our own conditions...

In the paper presentation Major Bharath Uday Seth won the best paper award for "Sensor Based Smart Mine Design" now Bharath should implement this in India.. It was a nice attempt made by a soldier to prevent death from hidden land mines...

As the day passed by i went on with my presentation....I interacted with lots of researchers from IBM as well as IISc B'lore, IIM B'lore..with getting both good as well as moderate remarks... As i went to propose an intelligent risk assesment model through neural networks using matlab (contd..)

My experience with Life @ IIIT

14th July 2008...i started my journey to IIIT-A...thinking of great dreams and ambitions that i can fulfill with this brand IIIT...reached BH2..with a known senior there standing to receive me and welcome me to my so called new destination for my next two years...never ever i had imagined that my next two years will change the dimension of lot of our lives...

"Kya Socha tha kya paya" true said in one of the cold drinks add "dikhawe pe na jao apni akal lagao...dikhawa hai waste...trust only taste..."

But i never knew that the taste would get such bitter by the time i will leave this place in 2010...

People with different faces (some law, some technical, some commerce etc. etc.) and different characters gathered there for changing their course of life by joining IIIT's PG course...

Thought that our next two years will be very much fruitfull enough be surrounded amidst great intellectuals of this esteemed institution...but...everyone knows what..when..how..why...

The starting was a great affair..making promises of doing this, doing that etc. etc..
I thought the start is very beautiful...end toh yaar bahut acha hoga...

We started with an orientation ceremony...with coming to know..that a CAT used to roam about in the campus...it was like a character of Sholay... was a strange thought to be given..but we gave a deaf ear...the 1st Mistake....

Then comes Foundation day..UNITY IN STRENGTH of MS fully displayed bagging 1st Prize in Play...awesome day...15th August 2008..hardly anyone could forget when the No. 3 and No. 6 team ran for the marathon race...where one of our beloved friend was'nt even able to complete the first Lap till the run was over..and his team mates were waiting for him...so that he can pass on the batton..but it was the irony of fate that made him not even able to complete the race with retiring hurt mid way..thereby dashing the hope No. 6 team's :(

Placement team was formed with the support of the class..but in that some differences raised...who should be in the team and who should not...kisne jugad lagaya hai and all types of shittt....but any how the team was formed with hell lot of confusion with few...UNITY IN STRENGTH ko pehla chota sa jhatka...

In the midst of all these the booz used to continuosly flow down the corridors...and at the end...some used to shed out their inner thoughts...Main ye kar sakta hun..mai ye kar sakta hu...maine ye kiya hai..maine woh kiya hai.....and finally "tu mera bhai hai"..was the most common..overall the enjoyment continues..with boozing up and reaching seventh heaven...

Then things went naturally well till our Mid-sems arrived when the so called UNITY IN STRENGTH went for a total toss...all the fake profile holders real curriculum Vitae was starting to get presented in front of all...with finally when we came to know how mecavity..the mystery CAT functions..the Divide and Rule Policy..was implemented and UNITY..went tossed to all corners of the institute..with some prefered to be the bell in the CATS neck... so the show was over now...sabke rang dikhne lagey the tab tak...

Then problem arised in the placement team..and that team was also broken down with hell lot of allegation shooted towards an individual...for the first time lobbying..and politics...late night meetings started..all for a change ....

Till now i have started to notice all the flukes within the batch..

Finally ends sems arrived in novemeber end...and after that was the 1st science conclave. few of our batch mates preferred to stay back as volunteers..i packed my bags and went to far North east amongst the natural beauties of India..far from the complexities in IIITA..

1st Semester Finish

After a much needed break we rejoined back for our next session..results were about to be declared..all speculations started...who might get the best grades..but when the curtains to our grades were lifted..all went for a toss...jiske jaise no. the unke grades waise nahi the...ab sab samajh mein aane laga..ki asli kya hai aur nakli kya...

Picture getting clear now...Noting was real there...every thing was just Fake...polished faces..covering shrewed mentality and thinkings...that it was hardly being able to be recognized..the truth within them...

Actual struggle begins then..the fight for a place with the best companies for summer internship..as due to this reason the Placement cell was dismantled and a new team was formed..but now by then a hell lot of chaotic situation raised..with people blaming the team for playing with the sentiments of the batchmates by only refering CV's of their friends and Kins and the one close to seniors and other head honchos of the division...it was a total messy..just a cat fight between the same batchmates..who used to strive towards UNITY IN STRENGTH...

I now used to think..by just viewing their catfights form the sidelines..that huhhhh....m not into this shitttt...Saved...jo hota hai ache ki liye hi hota hai...

The catfight and the rat race continued..a very few got thru the proper channel..where as a lot of the other tried hard and got settled some or the other way round...But that was the time some more characteristics of a few more hidden channels came into light...

I said move on..and concentrate for which you are here in...it reminds me of Sharman Joshi saying in 3 idiots.. "kuch dhang ka toh kar hi lunga apni life mein..placement college se mile ya na mile..." although the movie came in late 2009..but now i realize its value....

Lets complete it.... long time folks...

Politics at its best..lobbying at its best in an college of international repute... this is what the new era of education lies into ??? When you see own class mates pulling you down to climb up a ladder of success... When your success is often termed as fluke and often your good terms with the profs are termed as flattering..

Anyways days passed internships were allotted cat fight in the same.. I too faced some hickups due to the nonsense activities of my class mates...People were very experienced in making a mess of things there.. We could easily differentiate amongst the fools creating a mess and why ??

Amongst all these we used to party hard with people who shared same vision and ideologies... Life teaches us a lot and hostel life teaches us how to survive in different surroundings... Now when i look back down the memory line i thank all those idiots and fools who made me realize that if fools don't commit a mistake how can one be aware of committing such in his/her life...

More or less 2nd & 3rd Semesters went on the same rat race and cat fights.. i was just a mute spectator... Very much outstanding (from the campus actually as i used to come home quite often so outstanding from the campus) ha! ha!! hence got the reward of being outstanding with my result being with held in final semester :)

PLACEMENT TIME !!!! Bingo (3rd Sem ends 4th Sem Starts)

A big-4 being the 1st in campus company my room mate and me both were into the final rounds but he through as i screwed up in one question.. None the less he being the first on campus recruit and me the last in another big-4.

Cats fights and rat race continued... Who why getting recruited??? Groups getting divided... One Groups not attending parties being thrown on the occasion of recruitment... Boycotting etc etc. the end of our term was not as expected as it started with a bang..

I noticed from one corner of my balcony the empty wings and corners of BH2,  thinking my arrival in IIIT when my senior coming down to receive me. Now the day is here when i was leaving this campus BH-2 bidding goodbye.. As i was the last one to get placed i have bid almost every friend goodbye from Allahabad railway station..

It was Amar & Amit Singh who came down to bid me farewell to IIIT-A thanx mates... I will owe this moment to you both.

Friends.. It was an eventful 2 important years.. but it could have ended much much better where in people would be left the campus with tears of joy not sorrow.. All's well that ends well

But the end was not good, still we are in touch with many of the guys but still those best days of our life could have been better !!!

Life..its twist and turns...

Everyone has to face the two-sided coin of life..heads (good) or tails (bad)...probablity of occuring is 1/2...any middle phase can turn tables in either of their favour... my experience with life is as such very much true to this contradictory statement...

Every bad time is a long night and every gud time is like the dawn bring in a new day in everyone's life...but sometimes nights are a bit more longer than days...similarly,bad times never last for ever, one day or the other,a new day has to come in everyones life...
Let me tell my own experience as my days come to an end here in IIIT i came across with various peoples in amongst this surrounding...but the most important thing that i came to learn here is adjust myself as per the surroundings..that goes hand in hand with the Darwin's theory of Survival of the fittest...
So lets take every negativity as the positivity of life and enjoy life..this will automatically help one to enjoy life to its fullest...

Life's not always fair...Sometimes you can get a splinter even sliding down a rainbow...every negativity brings some amount of positivity in it...the thing is how we can create an attitude in us to extract that and imply with our aptitude..as said "It requires both attitude and aptitude to reach an Altitude in Life...."

Life is like a blanket too short. You pull it up and your toes rebel, you yank it down and shivers meander about your shoulder; but cheerful folks manage to draw their knees up and pass a very comfortable night. ~Marion Howard

The thirst for the best in life....

We tend to move fast in life, but always forget that fast and furiously on can quench his/her thirst but not satisfy his thirst...just as if we drink water quickly...it creates a blockage into wind pipe..consequently it may lead one to problem..where as slowly and steadily one can quench as well as satisfy his thirst...

In this materialistic world..no one has left with any mental relationship to follow...but with only a world of show business persists.. a nearest of relatives of friends envies on his partner.. nothing called love or affection has been left in this world...even a girlfriend and boyfriend seeks mutual compromise for their relationship to prosper...."If you do this,i will do that..." wat the hell is it...damn Love is not a give & take policy...its not a barter system!!!! Love which was use to be the sweetest thing one who would ever like to posses have become Lust...not an individual give a damn to it..when it come on their own way of life..

In today's world what i feel is that there is no place for feelings, because nobody hard cares for anyone else...everyone is just moving in great speed to achieve his/her goal,no matter how many heads he have to topple or crush to achieve his/her fleck of success...

Albert Schweitzer correctly said :-
"Ethics cannot be based upon our obligations toward [people], but they are complete and natural only when we feel this Reverence for Life and the desire to have compassion for and to help all creatures insofar as it is in our power. I think that this ethic will become more and more recognized because of its great naturalness and because it is the foundation of a true humanism toward which we must strive if our culture is to become truly ethical."

I remember a poem by Bernard Russel which tell about the Passions of Life...

Three passions have governed my life:
The longings for love, the search for knowledge,
And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].

Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness.
In the union of love I have seen
In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision
Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined.

With equal passion I have sought knowledge.
I have wished to understand the hearts of [people].
I have wished to know why the stars shine.

Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens,
But always pity brought me back to earth;
Cries of pain reverberated in my heart
Of children in famine, of victims tortured
And of old people left helpless.
I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot,
And I too suffer.

This has been my life; I found it worth living.

adapted

Great people are not fools to make these quotes, but people just seem to have a deaf ear to their thought...their sayings... anyways its neither me nor you who can change man as they have become a machine..its their inner thoughts that have to change them...
Amen!!!!

Life is a Drop of Rain....preserve it !!!!!!

What is Life..where does it start from????can anyone answer this question of mine???
1. does it start from the day we are born?
2. does it start from the moment we gain our sences?
3. does it start from the day we strat thinking of ourselves?
when...????? where????...which moment does our life starts from???

Many people .... many answers will be shooting up...
But according to my thinking...my ideology..life starts with our work we do...the work that we do for ourselves towards a positive cause...that may be for ourselves or that may be for someone else..
We always think of ourselves first...when something comes our way...
Do we ever think of the Two-people (Mother and Father) prior to any work we commit...

Today in this materialistic world i think 80% of the people have forgot the sacrifice that have been encured by their parents for their childern...and truly speaking i am totally against them..

Life starts from our parents..the life they have given to us, the problem they have suffered while giving to us this life...can todays children sacrifice a lucrative six figuerd salaried job for their parents....98% a BIG "NO"

I have seen parents strugling in pain to just see the face of their son setteled abroad...money is not the only source that may give someone a true peace of life..

This is not Life dear friends...
In life we should always remember two words

The most important word "We"

and The least important word "I"

Life is not a "I" its "WE"

The Path of Life....

I sell my Ideas...that are acceptable all over.... these things are just of no use until followed with the main course of life...Swami Vivekananda told...Stand,stand against the evil..strength is life..Weakness is Death...
We the people are always concerned about what others are saying and tend to pay heed only to those and get tensed in life with thouse rauncy comments and get on to naggle with those comments and spoil the daily routine of our life....!!!!!!
My,question is have anyone ever thought or ever paid attention to our own work-style or even our own course of life..do we ever get tensed with our course of work..99% No...
The main reason is the Human tendency to just think about what others have said about you..
The day people will stop listening to all these rubbish...i think half of their daily life problems will definitly get solved..and they will move towards a better course of life...

We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act...
